Español: Helada en Apartaderos (Venezuela). Por su localización en un ecosistema de tundra alpina llamado páramo, sufre de intensos cambios de temperaturas diarios que lo han llegado a describir como "verano durante el día e invierno durante la noche".
English: Ground frost in the highest town in Venezuela, Apartaderos. Because its location in an alpine tundra ecosystem called páramo, they often undergo a sudden and drastic change in a daily freeze-and-thaw cycle, sometimes described as "summer every day and winter every night."
