Summary

Description
English: Hidden away in a woodland area of Hillside, Bulawayo stands Nesbitt Castle, the creation of either a madman or a genius!

Built around 1905 by Theodore Holdengarde an early mayor of the city, this proud sentinel of mortar and hand-hewn rock has walls thicker than the span of a man's arms.

Its beautifully manicured gardens and secluded hideaways are a haven for those seeking respite from the anxieties of the outside world; the only sounds to be heard are those of Mother Nature.

This splendid example of bygone days of opulence and romance was restored in 1988 by the Nesbitt family. Just the right venue for fairytale weddings, romantic honeymooners or conferences.

Enjoy your stay in one of the nine luxuriously appointed suites, with amenities that will satisfy even the most discerning of travelers.
