Fair use for Ncaa sm.gif[edit]

This image, Ncaa sm.gif, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright. I (Circa 1900) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. The images are a low resolution copy of an athletic team logo;
2. It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to profit from merchandising;
3. Copies could not be used to make illegal merchandising;
4. The image on the cover is significant because it is the recognized symbol of the sports team
