Marié avec Marie-Reine-Josephte Gauvreau en 1835, année probable de ce portrait, l’avocat Narcisse-Fortunat Belleau (Québec, 1808 – 1894) sera maire de Québec (1850-1853), membre du Conseil législatif (1852-1867) et premier lieutenant-gouverneur de la province (1867-1873).
