Description
English: Schematic of a nitrogen vacancy centre in the diamond lattice, viewed along the [100] axis. The dark blue sphere indicates a substitutional nitogen atom whilst the shaded region indicates a vacancy. Carbon atoms are shown as grey spheres, whilst bonds between atoms are shown as grey sticks.
