Summary

Description Mount Asgard which looks above like a tooth, is deep in on Baffin Island's Cumberland Peninsula. Named after the realm of Norse gods, from below it looks the part. This is in one of the most spectacular, remote and barely-accessible places in the northern hemisphere. And amazing to see from above halfway between London and Los Angeles. Since it's just north of the Arctic Circle, the Sun won't see it at the Winter Solstice, one month past the day I shot this. By the way, one of the great James Bond ski chase stunts in history was shot here, incredibly. See this video, explaining it. Start at about 1:33.
