Summary

Description
English: Mossmorran from Pilkham Hills. Pilkham Hills, an igneous intrusion, shields the vast Mossmorran petrochemical plant from many views. However from the trig pillar there is a fine view of the plant. Built to use the North Sea reserves and is connected to the Aberdeenshire coast by pipeline. Sometimes they flare off gas very spectacularly here, lighting up the sky for many miles.
