Praise the Lord—this is an agreement of the terms of partnership that we have made with the Americans ("the Mericanus") and affirmed in this document. We have placed upon it our seal such that it may last, God willing. Written in the city of Marrakesh, on the 25th of the blessed month of Sha'baan, year 1,200 (Hijri calendar).
