Español: Monolito dedicado a Moore en el antiguo campo de batalla

Monolito conmemorativo de la Batalla de Elviña. Situado en el antiguo campo de batalla ahora convertido en el Campus de Elviña de la Universidade da Coruña. En su placa de piedra recoge las palabras que Soult mandó grabar en la tumba de Moore: "Hic cecidit Johannes Moore, dux exercitus anglicae in pugna januari XVI 1809 contra gallos a duce dalmatiae ductos". Traducido al español vendría a decir: "Aqui cayó John Moore, general en jefe del ejército inglés, en la batalla del 16 de enero de 1809 contra los franceses dirigidos por el Duque de Dalmacia".

English: Monolith in honour to Moore in the old battlefield
Monolith in commemoration the Battle of Corunna. It is situated in the old battlefield, now converted in the Campus of the University of Corunna. In the stone are written the words that Soult ordered to write in Moore's tomb: "Hic cecidit Johannes Moore, dux exercitus anglicae in pugna januari XVI 1809 contra gallos a duce dalmatiae ductos". Tranlated into English it says : "Here lies John Moore, commander in chief of the English army, in the battle of January, 16th 1809 against the French commanded by the Dalmatian Duke".
