Summary

Description
English: Mineral Railway Line, Seaton Delaval. This mineral railway links Blyth and Lynemouth with the East Coast Main Line and was once part of the former Blyth & Tyne railway network. The widening of the cutting in the foreground indicates the site of the former Seaton Deleval station (1841-1964). The construction of a new station on the left side of the line, just before it veers off out of sight (background), is proposed as part of the Northumberland Line project.
