Description
English: Middle Intake Farm and Bronte Way footpath Middle Intake farm is one of several early 19th century farms which line the valley sides above Lower Laithe Reservoir near Stanbury. This is a laith house - with barn and house under a single roof. In 2006, Keyland Developments, the firm responsible for disposing of Yorkshire Water's surplus assets, applied for planning permission to renovate the house and erect a 6-7m high wind turbine, The application was rejected, but in late 2006 an appeal was pending.
