  • A check of copyright renewal for The Pittsburgh Press for the year 1957 was done; there were no results for the paper for this year at copyright.gov.
  • I am aware that Getty Images has a copy of this photograph in its Hulton Archive collection. Said archive is a collection of photographs which originated with other entities. In this case, the photo originated from NBC-TV as a still from their 1957 presentation of "Mr. Broadway". NBC-TV did not copyright-mark the photo and Hulton Archive would not own any rights to it since it belonged to NBC-TV.
