English: Award of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. Badge of Distinction "For Merits" for administrative personnel of the Ministry of Defence. Instituted on 29 December 2001 by ministerial order 500. Awarded to military personnel of the Administrative Office of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation with at least one year of seniority in the office, for initiative, diligence, and distinction displayed in the performance of military duties; also awarded to members of the civilian staff who have worked in the office for at least five years, for high performance in scientific and socio-cultural activities.
