English: Stained glass window by Burlison and Grylls showing memorials to Grey and Wood family members in the Church of the Holy Angels, Hoar Cross.
  • Top left: Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, KG, PC (13 March 1764 – 17 July 1845), known as Viscount Howick between 1806 and 1807, was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from November 1830 to July 1834. Married Hon. Mary Elizabeth Ponsonby (1776–1861), only daughter of William Ponsonby, 1st Baron Ponsonby. Arms of Grey (quarterly of 4) impaling Ponsonby.
  • Bottom left: Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax (d.1885)
  • Top right Charles Wood (d.1782), married Caroline Barker, da & heiress of Thomas Barker of Otley, Yorkshire, England. Wood with inescutcheon of pretence of Barker (Barry of ten or and sable over all a bend gules)
  • Bottom right: Sir Francis Lindley Wood, 2nd Baronet (d.1846), who married Anne Buck, daughter and heiress of Samuel Buck; father of Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax; Wood of 4 quarters with inescutcheon of pretence for Buck (Lozengy barry of five or and argent ? as shown here
