English: Memorial to A. L. Rowse. This memorial stone is made of granite from the De Lank quarry on Bodmin Moor. It is probably the memorial stone on Black Head, overlooking St Austell Bay almost within sight of Trenarren.

The inscription reads: A L Rowse CH / 1903-1997 / Poet & Historian / Lef a Gernow / Voice of Cornwall /
