Cover of the Farrar, Straus & Giroux edition of Meet the Austins by Madeleine L'Engle, 1997, ISBN 0-374-34929-0. Significance of this republication of a 1960 novel is that it restores a chapter cut from the first edition, later published separately as The Anti-Muffins. Also of interest is the cover illustration by Dennis Nolan, depicting the Austin children, Maggy Hamilton and the dog Mr. Rochester, and fictional Seven Bay Island, one of the fictional Places in the works of Madeleine L'Engle.
