Description

Ahmad Shah Massoud (leader of the anti-Taliban resistance and National Hero of Afghanistan) and Haji Abdul Qadir (Vice President of Afghanistan from Oct. 2001 until his assassination) shake hands in mid-2001.

Screenshot from a documentary film about the anti-Taliban resistance made by the Afghan Ariana Films. In 2002, Ariana Films transferred the rights over the work to a media archive also archiving works of Afghanistan and Cambodia, the Institut national de l'audiovisuel (Ina). An excerpt of the documentary/source can be found at ina.fr.
