• Marymount College of Fordham no longer exists and the seal is needed to explain its history
• Seal is of small size and low resolution
• Seal is used only to illustrate the subjects in question, Marymount College and Fordham University
• Seal has been published and is available on the Internet including http://www.fordham.edu
• Use of the seal in a manner consistent with an encyclopedia will harm neither Marymount College nor Fordham University and will not undermine its value to its owners.
