Summary

Description A yellow-bellied marmot near Princeton, British Columbia. The marmot is standing on a wooden sculpture known as Phifer's Fountain. The sculpture was created in the 1970s from the last load of old-growth cedar taken from the Queen Charlotte Islands. It was originally located in Vancouver, BC, and was moved to Princeton in 2002. It now serves as a decorative gate for the Trans Canada Trail.
