| Description | The north building of the Manhattan Detention Complex ("The Tombs") at 100 Baxter Street, also facing White and Centre Streets, in the Civic Center district of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1989 and was designed by Urbahn Assocs. and Litchfield-Grosfeld Assocs. It is connected by a pedestrian bridge to the south building, which is a wing of the Criminal Courts Building at 100 Centre Street, which in turn is connected to the main part of the building by the "Bridge of Sighs".
