Español: Reproducción de una tarjeta postal antigua de Madrid (España). Es un detalle de una panorámica en 3 partes, con el título "200. Vista General de MADRID". Impresa en fototipia hacia el año 1907, dos años antes del derribo de la fachada principal de la casa-palacio de los sucesores de Goya, que aquí aparece vista desde atrás. El aspecto de la casa es muy similar al que aparece en la pintura "La Quinta de Goya" de Aureliano de Beruete, año 1907, exhibida en el Museo del Prado. A comienzos del siglo XX, la antigua casa de Goya estaba completamente reformada e incompleta, pues unos 30 años antes se había derribado el ala de las Pinturas Negras, tras su extracción de los muros. Tuvieron que perforar las paredes para llevarse las pinturas, y eso ocasionó la ruina de la parte faltante de la casa. Esta tarjeta postal es de mi colección particular, adquirida en Delcampe. Hay otros ejemplares en otras colecciones particulares. La postal fue editada por el monogramista "TG" (o "GT"), de Madrid, que parece corresponder a la madrileña Casa Thomas, dirigida por Tomás Gianello, en calle Sevilla número 3. |
