A graphic artist with Disney before the war, T.Sgt Chris Ishii designed a humorous logo of a Minnesota gopher wearing an Indian war bonnet to represent the students' experience in at Camp Savage. It was used by MIS veteran groups following the war but stopped using it in the 1990s due to a request by Native American groups.
