Description
English: The Lucius N. Littauer Building, located at 28-32 East Fulton Street in Gloversville, New York, was built in 1929as the Jewish Community Center. It had an indoor pool and an auditorium, among other features. It closed in 2010, and is now a fly fishing store. (Source: [1]) Littauer was a businessman, a college football coach, a five-term U.S. Congressman, and a philanthropist. The building was designed in the Art Deco style and is located in the Downtown Gloversville Historic District. (Source: [2])
