English: Forest elephants (Loxodonta cyclotis) in the swamp Mbeli Bai, Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park, Congo. Despite a near universal ban on trade in ivory, poaching is placing the African Forest Elephant — distinct from the Savannah Elephant — in serious jeopardy.
