Français : Accompagné de deux de ses fils, le nouveau roi « jure d'observer fidèlement la Charte constitutionnelle, de ne gouverner que par les lois et d'agir en toute chose dans les seules vues de l'intérêt, du bonheur et de la gloire du peuple français. » Le roi reçut ensuite de quatre maréchaux sceptre, main de justice, couronne et glaive ; cette cérémonie d'intrônisation devait remplacer celle des anciens rois.
