Summary

Description
English: Lock 5 (right) on the C & O Canal, with Inlet lock #1 (left). The inlet feeder canal to the left is what is left of George Washington's Patowmack Little Falls Skirting Canal, repurposed to feed the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. Note that the feeder canal has 2 inlet locks, and this is the downstream of the 2 inlet locks.
