Description

Warehouses (for storage of goods like wine and corn) at Gloucester Docks, Gloucestershire, England. Llanthony Warehouse was opened in 1873 and the Biddle & Shipton warehouses in 1830.

The blue boat SEVERN PROGRESS was built in 1931 to tow six narrowboats or two barges on the Severn between Gloucester and Worcester, sometimes extending to Stourport. In 1991, she was acquired by the British Waterways Museum and is now permanently at the docks.
