Summary

Description
English: Llanelli Methodist Church Hall Street Methodist Church. The church building has a significant history, "designed as an elaborate Gothic chapel by an architect said to have led the Wesleyan church into the path of the Gothic Revival" (P.Holden, present Architect leading the proposed redevelopment).

Construction of the original building was completed in 1856 with further construction completing in 1870. The tower and spire were added in 1896.

One of its many ministers was the Rev. James Buckley, who combined his clerical duties with the management of the nearby Buckleys brewery.
