English: Letter from the viceroy of Portuguese India (ポルトガル国印度副王信書, Porutogaru-koku Indo-fukuō shinsho), Duarte de Menezes, to daimyo Toyotomi Hideyoshi concerning the suppression of Christians in Japan.

Dated to the Azuchi-Momoyama period, April 1588. Located at Myōhō-in (妙法院), Kyoto, Japan.

The letter has been designated as National Treasure of Japan in the category "ancient documents".
