Français : « Les Nouvelles-Casernes constituent un ouvrage militaire érigé de 1749 à 1752 et dont certaines parties ont été reconstruites au cours du XIXe siècle et au début du XXe siècle. Le bâtiment en pierre comprend sept sections et présente un plan en parallélogramme allongé. Les différentes sections, séparées par des murs coupe-feu, ont des élévations de deux étages à deux étages et demi et sont coiffées de toits à deux versants droits ou plats. Le bâtiment est implanté sur le coteau de la Potasse, le long des fortifications, dans le parc de l'Artillerie, dans l'arrondissement de La Cité-Limoilou de la ville de Québec. » – patrimoine-culturel.gouv.qc.ca |
