Le sanctuaire et le mandapa fermé du temple Kalameshwara ou Shivalaya à Arsikere (Karnataka) Le Temple Kalameshwara ou Shivalaya est dédié à Shiva, il date de 1220, il a été construit à l'époque de la dynastie Hoysala à Arsikere (Arsikere signifie "le réservoir de la Reine"). La structure architecturale de ce petit temple est complexe. Il possède deux mandapas, l'un ouvert avec un dôme et l'autre fermé, et un sanctuaire (garbhagriha) surmonté d'une tour pyramidale (sikhara).
