Document de présentation de la technique Lap www.ville-antony.fr/evenements/lap-mda Le Lap est un dérivé du ciment mis au point en 1923 à Antony par l’ingénieur Jean-Charles Séailles (1887-1967) et son épouse, la cantatrice Spéranza Calo (1885-1947). C’est un matériau de synthèse qui donne au ciment un aspect semblable à l’émail. Il a été utilisé jusqu'en 1938 pour décorer des devantures de magasins ou pour des revêtements intérieurs. Le Lap a servi également dans l'ameublement. Il est étroitement associé au style art déco. Plusieurs artistes renommés ont créé des modèles qui ont été transposés avec le procédé Lap comme Dufy, Foujita, Janniot, Jouve, Gruber ou les frères Martel. |
