  • English: In the municipality of Candelaria (islet of Tenerife) is the basilica and Catholic sanctuary of the Virgin of Candelaria, or "Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria", & the current image is dated C.E.1827-1828, & is in neoclassical style, replacing the Gothic medieval carving that took a flood in C.E.1826, & she is the Patroness of the Canary Islands, & here the image is on a processional throne embossed in silver, & he saw 1 of his about 30 mantles, used in different celebrations & liturgical times.

  • Español: En el municipio de Candelaria (isla de Tenerife) se encuentra la basílica y santuario católico de la Virgen de Candelaria, o "Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria". La imagen actual está fechada en 1827-1828, y es de estilo neoclásico, sustituyendo la talla medieval gótica que se llevó una riada en el año 1826. Es Patrona de Canarias.
Aquí la imagen está en un trono procesional repujado en plata. Y viste uno de sus cerca de 30 mantos, usados en distintos festejos y tiempos litúgicos.
