Description A LCM-2 from the U.S. Navy transport USS President Jackson (AP-37) beached on Guadalcanal with the ramp down and a Dodge T214-WC56 command reconnaissance truck about to disembark. President Jackson took part in the Guadalcanal Campaign and was redesignated APA-18 on on 1 February 1943.
