Français : C'est la dernière oeuvre de Guérin, qui mourut en février 1678 avant de l'avoir achevée. Elle fut terminée par Emericq, selon les instructions et le style du maître. En passe d'être ruiné par l'érosion, ce chef-d'oeuvre a été mis à l'abri en novembre 2008. Restaurée et remplacée dans les jardins par une copie, grâce au mécénat de la Fondation Annenberg par l'intermédiaire de la Versailles Foundation. |
