Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	The image shall serve as primary means of visual identification, at the top of the article in question. Furthermore, it proves that the battle was a Al-Shabaab victory, though the Kenyan military disputes this.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	The battle is over by now, and besides photographs taken by the terrorist group Al-Shabaab no other illustration of the battle is known to exist. Therefore its is not replaceable by a free alternative.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	Used in one article only.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The image in question is of low resolution, and therefore of little commercial use. Additionally, the owner of the photograph is a terrorist organization, which has no legal copyright in the first place.
