Summary

Description
English: The Kipp homestead buildings are on the bottom where Cow Creek joins the Missouri River, near Cow Island. They are located in the region known as the Missouri Breaks. The homestead was filed in 1913 by Jim Kipp, grandson of the historical figure James Kipp (1778–1880). This smaller cabin was the original homestead cabin. Note the chinking of mud and the sod on the roof.
