English: Plaque at the San Diego Zoo describing "King Tut", a salmon-crested cockatoo (Cacatua moluccensis) that lived at the San Diego Zoo from 1925 to 1990 and served as the zoo's "official greeter" for 40 years. The plaque is located beneath a bronze statue of King Tut that stands inside the zoo's entrance next to the flamingo pond, in the spot where King Tut's perch was located during the bird's life.
