Afrikaans: Kerkgebou van die NG Moedergemeente in Kerkstraat, Vryheid. Hoeksteen gelê deur Mnr. Lukas J. Meyer op 25 Sept 1891, en die eerste predikant was A.J. Louw. Argitekte was Wilson & Earl, en D. Nicolson die kontrakteur wat dit in 1894 voltooi het. Voor die gebou is die Anglo-Boereoorlog Burgermonument, een van verskeie gedenktekens op die terrein.
English: Building of the Dutch Reformed Church, Vryheid, completed in 1894. Foundation stone layed on 25 Sept 1891 by Mr. Lukas J. Meyer, the first church minister was A.J. Louw. Building designed by Wilson & Earl, executed by contractor D. Nicolson. A Boer War memorial is visible in front of the building. |
