The painting shows the King Karl XI pointing out the place for "Carls-Croona". This happened when the king landed on the island Trossö the 19th november 1679. With him he had his advisors Erik Dahlberg, Johan Gyllenstierna, Rutger von Ascheberg, admiral Hans Wachtmeister, admiral Erik Sjöblad and Axel Wachtmeister.
