English: Kütahya kilim, detail.

West Anatolia (Turkey), c. 390 x 154 cm, second half of the 19th century, two-piece kilim in slit technique with contour wefts and brocading, with much cochineal-red and cotton in the white parts of the pattern, this piece is extraordinarily well-preserved, both ends and long sides complete without large damaged areas, minor edge damage.
