Summary

Description
English: The Jones & Co. bell mounted in the tower of Holyoke City Hall, inscribed with the year 1875 and covered in tar with the word "rusty" emblazoned upon it. While the clock mechanism has been restored, the bell ringing mechanism has a number of issues that will need to be addressed before it can be rung again, including a crack on the yoke where the bell itself is attached to the clapper bolt. The original clapper, not used in the mechanism, can be seen lying on the ground to the right side.
