Summary

Description

Keister rounded out the festivities with a summary of the Seattle Center and described Seattle's voting process of downvoting the baseball stadium and voting for the monorail extension three times and noted how we only got a one block extension of the monorail. He also noted how now the "preferred" (my synopsis) mode of transportation is to "ride your bike". Keister noted that when he was 6, he had a bike, and was promised that in the future we'd have jetpacks, and how we've come full circle back to bikes.

Very entertaining bit; I'm sure someone recorded it and will put it up on YouTube.
