Summary

Description Monumental brass of John Rolle, Esq., (d.1570), of Stevenstone, inlaid in floor of south aisle, parish church of St Giles in the Wood, Devon. Originally on his 2 1/2 foot high chest tomb in the chancel, as reported by John Prince in his "Worthies of Devon". 8" * 7 1/4". Photo in black & white, negative image.
