Deutsch: Die wichtigsten Darstellungen auf dem Gemälde sind: Sankt Michaeliskirche, Kleiner Michel, Heilig-Geist-Kirche, Sandtor, Sankt Nikolaikirche, Maria-Magdalena-Kloster, Rathaus, Sankt Johannes-Kloster, Sankt Katarinen, Sankt Petri, Dom, Brooktor, Gertrudenkapelle, Sankt Jacobi. Am linken äußeren Rand ist zudem ein Konvoischiff abgebildet. Geprägt wurde Hamburgs Silhouette vom Dom und den 5 Hauptkirchen bis ins 19. Jahrhundert fast unverändert
