Summary

Description
English: Chief Jim Boss of Lake Lebarge, in full war dress. Jim Boss was the hereditary Chief of the Southern Tutchone people. He was also a successful entrepreneur who sold firewood, fish and furs to gold-seekers passing through the Whitehorse area during the Klondike Gold Rush. Chief Jim Boss died in 1950. This photo was a gift to Rolf Hougen from Fred Boss.
