Fair use for British television Apollo 11 coverage[edit]

This image is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (bingo99) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  • it is a low resolution still of a television show;
  • it does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the film in any way;
  • the image was taken by a screen capturer which means this not the original portrait;
  • it allows for identification of the main characters;
  • it illustrates the television in question and aids commentary on the plot outline.
  • There is no free equivalent
  • Meets general Wikipedia content requirements and is encyclopedic.
  • Copyright is attributed
  • It significantly increases readers understanding of the topic. Its omission would be detrimental to that understanding.
  • As few non-free content uses as possible are included in the article
  • It is only available in a page where the Television show it is from is under discussion
  • It is used in at least one article
