English: Woman's jacket in pale olive silk-wool or fine wool fabric; short fitted style; collarless but with applied flat facing acting to define the neckline; full sleeves with puffing to upper, the fullness assisted by two rows of gathering around top of sleeve pleated into a deep turned-back cuff with vandyked edge; the back with shaped centre back panel featuring short slits to lower edge; the front lower with centre front opening terminating in points; the centre front fastened with seven alternating sets of hooks and eyes; the centre front edged with flat band of cream and toffee coloured cotton braid; extensively decorated to centre front, centre back and cuffs with braidwork executed in narrow and wider flat pale coffee coloured silk braid; fully lined in unbleached silk fabric (possibly not original).
