Description
English: Pictured are two RAF Benson Puma 2 helicopters undertaking training during EX AGILE SPEAR 15.Over 100 personnel from the Royal Air Force and British Army deploy to Salisbury Plain Training Area to conduct EXERCISE AGILE SPEAR 15.The Puma Force, Chinook Force, Joint Helicopter Force Headquarters, Tactical Supply Wing, Joint Helicopter Support Squadron, 244 Signals Squadron, 132 Aviation Support Squadron of 7 Battalion REME and 606 (Chiltern) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force join together for a week of intense training for contingency operations.The exercise simulates the Armed Forces being called upon to conduct non-combatant evacuation operations (NEO), one of the many tasks that form the high-readiness contingent capabilities of Defence.
