Notes Depiction of a deceased monarch (1696) pointing to a book entitled Hac Lege lego and accompanied by his son Jakub Ludwik Sobieski and his wife Hedwig Elisabeth of Neuburg is interpreted as a political allegory of Jakub Ludwik's right to the elective crown of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
